I’m a real Hater when it comes to the C programming language. All I hear from her is “Take out the garbage!”. But, on the other hand, I love C for her flexibility and compatibility. What can I do to improve my (sexual) relationship with C?

It sounds like you need to embed a good interpreter in C.
Try guile, or lua.
